Childbirth Education Classes are held in a four-part series on four consecutive Mondays in January, March, May, July, September, and November from 6 – 8 p.m. at The Live Well Center, 3 Alexandra Court, across the street from Carlisle Regional Medical Center. Preparation and planning will help to make this big event a happy and positive experience for you and your family. In our classes, you and your labor support person will learn about the birth process, breathing, relaxation, massage, comfort measures, and medications available to ease pain. You will also have the opportunity to tour our Labor & Delivery and Postpartum Units.

Class size is limited so please register early in your pregnancy, preferably by the fourth or fifth month. There is a $50 per couple fee for those delivering at Carlisle Regional Medical Center and a $75 per couple fee for those delivering elsewhere.

Pre-payment is required by sending a check to The Women's Center, CRMC, Attention Tammy Rohm, 361 Alexander Spring Rd., Carlisle PA 17015 made payable to Carlisle Regional Medical Center prior to the start of the class.
