- Blood Bank services including a Blood Donor Center that accepts volunteer blood donations Mondays and Tuesdays, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday, 9 a.m. to 7 p.m. and Fridays, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. Our Autologous Blood Donation Program allows eligible patients to give their own blood prior to scheduled surgery. Our Blood Bank is a member of the Central Pennsylvania Blood Bank. Last year over 3,800 pints of blood were collected from volunteer donors. The Carlisle Regional Medical Center Laboratory is accredited by the College of American Pathologists (CAP), the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, and is licensed by the PA Department of Health. In addition, the Blood Bank is accredited by the American Association of Blood Banks (AABB), and is registered with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
