Getting Started Wound Healing CentersServices

Physicians

If you're a doctor, please call either our Carlisle Center at (717) 243-1900 or our Shippensburg Center at (717) 530-1145 to refer a patient and give us the details of the treatment you would like the patient to receive. Then, we'll pass the information along to our wound healing physicians, who will evaluate your request and either approve the request or ask you for more information.

During and after your patient has received treatment we will remain in contact with you and your staff. We can arrange reporting on a regular or semi-regular basis and work with you to help your patient back to optimal health.

Patients

We allow patients to call in and request an appointment, but we must check your insurance coverage and obtain a referral that authorizes your treatment. We also accept self-pay patients.

Then, one of our wound healing physicians will examine you, evaluate what your problem is, and (if warranted) recommend a course of treatment. It is preferred that you have a primary care physician who we can report back to who may be treating you on a long-term basis.

Duration of Treatment

Please note that wound healing often requires a long-term course of treatment. Results are generally not achieved overnight. We urge our patients to have patience and faith, and we will do our very best to help them regain control of their wound healing problem.
