Carlisle Regional Medical Center Recognizes National Healthcare Decisions Day

(April 16, 2022) Carlisle Regional Medical Center, along with other national, state and community organizations, are leading a massive effort to once again highlight the importance of advance healthcare decision-making — an effort that has culminated in the formal designation of April 16, 2022 as National Healthcare Decisions Day.

As a participating organization, Carlisle Regional is providing information and tools for the public to talk about their wishes with family, friends and healthcare providers, and execute written advance directives (healthcare power of attorney and living will) in accordance with Pennsylvania state laws. Carlisle Regional is welcoming the public to stop by the Outpatient Waiting Entrance to pick-up free documentation about advance care planning, advance directive forms, and information on how to have someone contact you if you have additional questions.
