CARLISLE, PA (October 31, 2021) – More than a dozen physician practices affiliated with Carlisle Regional Medical Center are hosting a special food drive to collect non-perishable food items for the upcoming holiday season.
This effort, called “A Time of Giving,” is a partnership with Project Share in Carlisle. Each of the practices will be collecting food items from November 1 through November 16 in their office locations. Bins will be set up in each of the offices to collect non-perishable food items, such as canned vegetables, canned tuna, jars of peanut butter, boxed pasta (including packaged macaroni and cheese), boxed cereals and canned meats, including chicken.
All items will be delivered to Project Share for distribution to individuals and families in need in the greater Carlisle area.
“We wanted to unite all of our physician practices toward one common goal: giving back to the community,” said Teresa Frohm, Carlisle HMA Physician Management practice manager. “With the holiday season quickly approaching, we felt that launching ‘A Time of Giving’ was a great way for our practices to reach out to those who need help, right here in our own community.”
